Risk Adjustment Processing System

Acronym: RAPS

Risk Adjustment Processing System (RAPS) processes Medicare Advantage risk adjustment data. After the data submitted by Medicare Advantage (MA) organizations passes the checks in the Front‐End Risk Adjustment System (FERAS), the data is sent to the CMS data center for RAPS processing. RAPS perform complete editing of all detail records which are then stored in the RAPS database.
