Pediatric Accountable Care Organization Demonstration Project

ACA §2706. States participating in this new demonstration project would be authorized to allow pediatric medical providers that meet certain requirements to form ACOs for Medicaid and/or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) beneficiaries and, subject to performance guidelines established by the Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary and a minimal savings level established by the state Medicaid agency, to receive incentive payments. This demonstration is not currently funded.
