National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics

Acronym: NCVHS

National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics was established by Congress to serve as an advisory body to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on issues relating to health care statistics, policy, and regulations. Among other activities not related to EDI transactions, NCVHS makes recommendations to HHS on potential regulatory actions surrounding mandated transactions and operating rules.
