Acronym: EDR

Is a report from a Medicare Advantage Organization (MAO) or other submitter to CMS about medical items or services a beneficiary received while enrolled in one of the MAO’s plans. Thus, all information included on an EDR for an item or service must be related to the specific item or service about which the encounter data record is reporting.
