Diversity Index
Summarizes racial and ethnic diversity. The index shows the likelihood that two persons, chosen at random from the same area, belong to different race or ethnic groups. The index ranges from 0 (no diversity) to 100 (complete diversity). For example, a diversity index of 59 means there is a 59 percent probability that two people randomly chosen would belong to different race or ethnic groups.Is any party that enters into a written arrangement, acceptable to CMS, with persons or entities. These persons or entities are involved with the Medicare Advantage benefit or Part D benefit, below the level of the arrangement between an Medicare Advantage organization or applicant or a Part D plan sponsor or applicant and a First Tier Entity. These written arrangements continue down to the level of the ultimate provider of both health and administrative services.
