CMS-HCC

The CMS-HCC model uses more than 9,000 ICD-10-CM codes, which are mapped to one of 189 mutually exclusive condition categories that predict costs well. The Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) organize the CCs into hierarchies of severity of disease.
